I didn't make any special engine, it is all straight forward programming based on what is required to make the thing work. The combat for instance is simply about checking the player's input and decreasing the monsters HP and/or stats whenever the monster parent is near the player.What I believe you are interested in when making a turnbased game, is timelines. The key would be to give each object a time variable that runs down, and when reduced to zero triggering an event and resetting the time back again. I am sorry I cannot help you with this since it is not one script that takes care of everything at once.
by chance can i get the engine u run this with? i really just want the combat source, but im making a turnbased tactical rpg just saw a lot of helpful things in your game.
